CUSTOM DESIGN: 2 GIRLS 2 BIKES 50 STATES
I've shown you guys our custom designed tees for the MS Society in the past and I am SO happy to say this relationship is only growing! My friend Rachael, who I've been working closely with for her cycling team, and her friend Dayle reached out to me to work on a special project for them. Previously, all the work I've done with Rachael has been for her fundraising team, TVR (Team Velox Rota, #JustKeepPedaling). This time, the project is a little more personal to both Rachael and Dayle's journey together, cycling to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis.
Just recently, these girls have embarked on a journey to ride in every state! Their project is called 2 Girls, 2 Bikes, 50 States. (I totally recommend hitting up their website to read their stories!)
The whole concept for Thirteen's design was a maze that symbolizes a journey... and as you know, that's what we are all about: the journey to our #UltimateSelf. That concept really resonated with Rachael and Dayle so they wanted to create a similar maze on the map of the USA (because, helllllo, 50 states!).
So, I quite literally applied that same linear technique (which I'm sure by now you are seeing I love... linear design is *sorta* becoming my thing).
Because it's 2 girls and 2 bikes... I added two bikes on the exterior of the map with a dashed line around; they're riding around the country #literal. Annnnd because these girls are just the sweetest, they asked me to include my signature which honestly just feels so nice because I feel like I'm a part of what they are doing... and what they are doing is so incredible and I'm very proud to be on board.
I'm really proud to be a part of this project. I love designing with a purpose and I love helping other people fulfill their purpose, too.
