THE RHINO
I get asked all the time, "So, why the rhino?"
As you guys have noticed, I've got a thing for rhinos and they pop up on a lot of our designs. But WHY?
Our OG design, the ELEMENTS Tee
First of all, rhinos are bad ass. I've always been inspired by animals; in college, almost every design project I did was inspired by animals (jelly fish, octopus, birds... the list goes on.)
So when I was developing our first design (the ELEMENTS Tee and Muscle Tank), I wanted to involve an animal that represented our brand message. In doing research, I found that in many cultures, the rhino is symbolic of strength, power, and stability along with a few other things like luck!
We talk about three elements of your mind and of your body, that together build your #UltimateSelf: strength, power, and stability. Our rhino is our symbol for these!
Often, our rhino gets confused with our logo. Our logo is the roman numeral thirteen but our rhino is a design elements that helps turn our concept into visual design. Not to mention, the rhino is a fan fave!
